U4IC, which is short for the word euphoric, stands for “A Constant State of Joy.” Every human being wants to be happy. Unfortunately, so many of the things that bring us happiness only provide a short happiness, like new presents, good friends, money to spend, good grades, etc. At U4IC we have come to find what we believe is the greatest and longest lasting happiness; we call this joy. True joy is found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. There will be no friend who will stick closer to you than Jesus during your years of high school, unless you don’t feed into that relationship. Being a Christian is no more complicated than maintaining a friendship, but it is near impossible to do on your own. This is what U4IC, the high school ministry at Valley Springs, is all about. All that we do in U4IC is to help each other fight for that joy in Jesus. We hope you find that joy as well. |
